Del Rey

This diverse community is characterized by its ethnic diversity. There are immigrants from Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and Japan. The residents are friendly and supportive of their community.

There is a large population of young residents who are looking to find a better environment and a place to raise their children. They are also attracted to the outdoor lifestyle that Del Rey provides. The other growing population is that of the elderly; the elder residents present special needs in which the city must accommodate. Thus, the Del Rey Homeowners & Neighbors Association pushes for the implementation of programs for the elderly.
